外贸人每天都要做的事情

  1、收发邮件 Send and check emails

  每天至少两次收发反馈信箱,早上上班和晚上下班之前,每天必须保证收到的反馈及时回复完,由于时差,如果业务人员能够在家处理反馈更好,可以保证回复的及时性。

  We should send and check feedback emails twice a day at least. You can do that when you just arrive at company in morning or before you go back home from company. Owing to the existence of time difference, it will be better if a salesperson can cope with feedbacks at home because it can assure timeliness of response.

  2、做好客户信息管理 Customers information management

  建立一个excel表格,将所有收到的客户信息及时填写到表格中,大家可以回看下“这就是你们所要的《客户跟踪记录表》模板”这期参考参考。

  Create an excel chart and fill in with received customers information. About this, you can review Template of Customers Tracing Table.

  3、主动到相关商务网站里寻找买家 Develop customers in some related commerce websites

  要整理分类,针对不同地区的客户进行不同的发盘,做到简洁,有针对性。

  We should classisfy customers and make various offers to customers from different areas to make it simplified and targeted.

  4、每隔几天到相关商务网站发布一条具有商业价值的信息

  Deliver an information with business value on related commerce websites every few days

  虽然可能效果不是很好,但是也花不了多少时间,如果你更新的快的话,产品信息就会出现目录的首页,说不定会有所收获,建议坚持。

  Although it may not work like a charm, it won’t take you too long. If you can be quick at updating information, your products may appear on home page and you may gain something.

  5、每个季度定期更换网页内容 Change contents on website quarterly

  将新产品信息发布上网,或者将产品的图片替换一下。这些都会让买家及时了解公司的最新信息,吸引新客户。

  Launch new products information or replace image with new one. It is attractive to new customers because they can know the latest information of your company.

  6、定期给老客户或者潜在的客户发送公司的最新产品信息

  Send the latest product information to regular customers or potential customers periodically

  据统计开发一个新客户所花费的费用相当于维持十个老客户所花费的费用,在开发新客户的时候一定不要忽视老客户的维持,可以在节日的时候给客人发送卡片祝福,客人都会觉得很亲切,合作的愉快。

  According to the statistics, the cost of developing a new customers is ten times higher than cost of keeping 10 regular customers. The time we develop new customers, we shouldn’t forget to keep our regular customers. We can send some greeting cards to customers and they will be happy for that.

  7、每天的任务差不多完成了,就到更多询盘网看看

  After you finish your routine work, go check some inquiry websites

  没事看看说不定就有自己想要得询盘,有个就是拣的。

  Perhaps you can pick up an order by chance.

  8、充分利用网上的免费资源 Make full use of free resources on internet

  除非是公司实力很强,参加几乎所有的国外行业展会的公司,一般的中小型企业或者公司的业务员都应该好好利用网上的信息,如果公司没有付费的网络平台,那更需要在网上多下功夫了。

  Unless your company is powerful, traders of almost all the companies should make good use of information on internet especially when there are no network platforms that require people to pay.

  ⑴本行业各专业展会的主页 Home pages of professional exhibitions

  很多知名展会都有相关的主页,主页上面有所有参展商的联系方式,产品种类,参展商公司网站等重要的资料。虽然我们没有去其中的这些专业展会,但发广告信的时候就可以用“it is my honor to know you from IFMA…"来最为广告信的开头,一下子拉近和客户的关系。

  Lots of famous exhibitions have their home pages. There are contacts of every exhibitor, product category, websites of exhibitors’ companies and other vital data. Although we haven’t been to these professional exhibitions, we can use “it is my honor to know you from IFMA as our title” to get close to customers.

  ⑵各大黄页 Yellow pages

  不过黄页上一般没有公司的E-MAIL的信息,这就需要你将黄页上查到的客户信息再到搜索引擎上相关更加详细的信息,比如在google上输入ABC spa这个公司的名称,说不定就可以找到公司的网站,从而找到联系人和E-MAIL地址之类的信息了。

  Generally, there are no company Email. It requires you to search detailed information using customers information from yellow pages. For example, input ABC spa on Google, you can probably find the website so that you can know their contacts and Email address.

  ⑶搜索引擎 Search Engine

 

  可以多用各个国家本地的搜索引擎。比如在中国,可能你用百度搜索的信息比在谷歌搜索的资料还要全。但是你还需要注意一点,你在使用不同国家的搜索引擎的时候最好把关键词在网上先翻译成对应的那个国家的语言,这样得到的信息会更多一些。

  We can make full use of search engines of various countries. For example, in China, there are more information you can get by using Baidu than using Google. However, you need to know that you’d better translate the key words into corresponding language, therefore, you can get more information.

  ⑷国内的网站资源 Resources in domestic websites

  可以好好的利用世界买家网、福步论坛和阿里巴巴中文网站。首先是世界买家网,这个网站是中国商务部办的,里面的客户资料全部来自广交会,然后到时候发广告信就可以直接说是在广交会上认识的客人;福步是国内最好最大的外贸bbs,可以好好挖掘,加以利用;最后是阿里巴巴中文网。由于阿里广告做的好,再加上成为会员一年只要几千块钱,所以很多企业都会在投资这个平台。

 

  We can take advantage of Buyer information, FOB Business Forum and Chinese Alibaba. First, Buyer information is established by Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the data are from Canton Fair. So you can tell him straight that you met them on Canton Fair. FOB Business Forum is the best foreign trade BBS in China and we should make full use of it. The last one is Chinese Alibaba. It only takes you several thousands Yuan to become a formal member so many enterprises choose this platform.

  ⑸最后就是注册免费的B2B网站

  Register an account on B2B website

  在B2B网站上注册企业以及产品信息那就是一个间接的提升公司产品暴光率,从而让客户主动来联系我们的措施了。另外,注册完之后不要忘了定期登陆和更新,因为很多客户发的邮件很可能没有直接转到你设置的邮箱里,所以需要定期登录检查收件箱。

  It can be very helpful to register your enterprise and product information because customers will contact us on their own. In addition, don’t forget to login periodically and update the news for many customers’ emails will possibly not be sent into your emails so you should check it frequently.
